We were referred to South Florida Estate Buyers, Inc through another party.
They came and picked up many items from our apartment on May 16th. There was to be an auction 2 days later and we were to get a check 2 days after that. Over a month has passed. No check. They would not answer calls from my sister. I called, since they did not know me. They took my call, but then when I called again, they recognized the number and would not answer my calls either. I was promised a check and an accounting. I am still most suspicious of what they claim they owe us, as I figure based on what we knew was sold and their actual auction prices, we are owed more money. They also claim to have to records of the sale prices. We have an inventory of all the items that they picked up. We can estimate what items might have sold for.
These people are thieves, and misrepresent themselves to be honorable business people. They are not.
