Don't do it.
For a hundred and twenty dollars you get someone who has never been paid for a script, or worked on a show, or ever set foot on a stage read your work and give to you 5 pages of useless critique about jokes or plot they didn't understand, etc. At the end of a misdirected 5 page sum-up of your plot you get two notes about EDITORIAL changes, not even formatting changes that need to be corrected.
They offer very minimal incomplete coverages. Two scripts I sent, both read by the same reader, $250 down, and I have nothing that helps me know if this script is actually ready for serious approach or not. Absolutely not worth it.
When I asked for a refund I was told that the fee only means that they will read it and write comments about it, it doesn't guarantee I'll like the comments. When I said, I could care less about the opinion of a reader's interpretation of jokes and plot, which they've never written or pitched, and my request for a refund was based on not receiving any
technical notes that could actually help my script I was refused service...
I didn't get anything useful... And they won't issue a refund. Essentially it's a low-grade scam. Get a reader that is employed by someone other than a coverage company, because these readers at HollywoodLitSales.com have NO experience in the real world of the Industry, that's why they're readers. They are not Creationists. They are not Artists. They are what d*uche-bags are. It's an unfortunate experience.
