Ordered on 05/08. Was told on 05/16 that my order would ship 2-3 weeks from the date of order and that I would receive an e-mail confirming it has been shipped so that I could track my order. Contacted the seller again on 05/30 as I did not hear back and was told my order would be shipping that week. Was told it was shipped without a "tracking #" so there is no way for me to verify. Seller states she will only issue a refund if I remove my feedback. When I refused, she then states "all sales are final".
Seller then shipped the item on 06/13 even though I had cancelled it since it was not going to arrive on time. Because of this, ETSY sided with the seller. The item has since been dropped off at the post office to be returned (my wedding was 06/15 and I received it when I came back yesterday afternoon). ETSY then advises that since it was shipped (regardless of when and disregarding the fact the seller offered to cancel and I confirmed) that the case is closed.
Needless to say, I'm out $14 and have had to deal with tons of stress. It seems by reading other reviews I am not alone. ETSY really could care less about customer service or ensuring their sellers adhere to their promises.
And what do you know? The seller now has the same item on sale - perhaps they were the ones she was supposed to ship on 05/30 but lied and did not.
