Strong arm for Domain service

Let me start off by saying, this company will not improve your business. It will not bring in revenue, it will just sit there, like a plain old boring website.

A person who i will leave unnamed signed up for this company (coworker who didn't know better). At first i thought, okay, this would be pretty decent for the office. But in reality, it was the worst experience of my life. I've been building websites for about 6 years. At the time i did not have the time to construct a website for the company, do the hosting, email, exchange so they went with something cheap easy and decent. All of which were true, except the fact their "portal" was always acting up, even showed me someone else s information as far as payment info, address, etc. Totally unprofessional. The only way to get any legit answers out of this company is to call them, the online support is a joke. Although, when you do call in, the only person who speaks proper English is the automated phone system. I personally have asked to speak to a manager 4 times cause this company controlled the email accounts which are provided through google mail. If you wanted to reset your password, you had to call and wait 24 hours. REALLY? 24 hours for a pass change? The website creator was REALLY slow, i mean, it took 5 minutes to accept the changes i made. We signed up for a year (thank god) and when it came time to distance ourselves from Riaenjolie, they tried to strong arm me into at least keeping my domain with them. Funny thing is, they are a re-seller of domains. So you're not actually dealing with a hosting/and or domain service. My domain registration was set to be up on May 13th. They alerted me to the fact that i owed them 12 dollars. I wasn't quite sure why i owed them 12 dollars considering i was moving away from their company. They told me to pay the 12 dollars or my company Domain will expire and i will not be able to get it for 3-4 months. They call this the "Redemption" period. I told them i was going to move my domain, they then told me i was to pay 20 dollars for the release of my domain. My domain. They are literally charging me to move my stuff. I asked them why do i owe them 12 and 20 dollars respectively and they said "Its to renew the domain" (so they wanted the 12 to renew it and 20 to unlock it, which would be counter productive. Makes 0 sense) I didn't want to do this, cause this would have been a waste of time and resources cause i can do the hosting and domain somewhere else with a company like Godaddy for cheaper. Come to find out, they are a re-seller from SRSPLUS.com. I contacted SRSplus.com to get my transfer code, i alerted them to the fact they are charging me for said transfer code. Riaenjolie had stated to me multiple times that the 20 dollar fee was not going to them, but to their host (at the time they refused to tell me which host it was). I finally made them crack and tell me the registrar and it was SRS. I called SRS and they told me they do not charge for the domain transfer out, then i told "Mukesh" (lol) that SRS doesn't charge, at this point he stumbled. I then asked to speak to a manager, i spoke to "Mike" (lol) and let them know what they are doing is against the TOS of SRS and that i will seek legal action. They would not budge on the 20 dollars. I gave them the 20 bucks, cause its 20 bucks, but that's not the point. They strong armed my company out of hundreds of dollars from the beginning.

This company is a nightmare, not to mention the fact the email accounts are controlled by them, so at any time, they can see the sensitive information in sent emails. This made me very weary from the beginning, but the company paid to do this, so i cant fault riaenjolie for that. But what i CAN fault them for is the terrible service as their slogan is "Its cause we care" or something along those lines. Haha. I would recommend anyone who views this complaint, that's considering signing up with them TO STOP. Do not. Awful awful company. They also claim to bring in site hits and revenue (no way to track this through their portal). Nobody speaks a lick of english for being an American company. Stay away.
