On 01/11 @9:45 in the A.M. I was shopping target, & had purchased some items and a x-mas tote which was on a price cut of $4.50. I get home and realize i had gotten the wrong lid for this, and went back to target, same day, trip #2, which isn't bad being i shop there a couple times a week anyway, just not on the same day. Anyway it was 2:00 when i got back there, and saw that they had clearanced the same tote to $3.15 so when i got to the register i asked a lead (shoulder length hair, in her early 20's) if she could do a price adjustment she said No. Being i had taken a tote up to the register with me so they can see the upc's being the same exact item, i then said i will purchase this one at the clearance $ and then give me a refund of $4.50 on the same exact one i have at home which i had my receipt for and then you can keep this one. She say's no i will have to go home to get the same exact one to bring back in order to get my refund. Which i did, and i am so furious. The way this was handled was something i'd expect from walmart (i haven't even been this upset there) i shop at target because the employees have always been pleasant and helpful. Now wouldn't it of been so very simple to of just given me the difference of $1.35 and i would of kept both the totes instead of refunding them? And having to go to walmart to purchase the same totes at a $1.00 more. It is going to be a really long time before i go back there if at all.
