I have been a customer of Direct TV since 2006. They offer many specials, such as free HD DVR service, with free equiptment, free installation, three months to try at no cost (when their credits come through on confusing statements, but that is another story).
Direct TV does not tell you on the front end if you decide not to keep the upgraded service, such as HD DVR receivers, you must purchase the down graded receivers and pay them installation charges.in my opinion it is the old bait and switch con, so Beware!
