This company sent a letter to my son - age 14 - and he and my 16 year old daughter were all set to pool some funds to send in the $39.
I said Wait, let's check it out on the internet; it could be a scam and there is no phone number to call and find out if they are legit. Any time you're asked to send money FIRST is a red flag of a possible scam.
I showed my kids reports from others who'd been scammed, and can only say "Thank you" for posting this info and helping keep others from becoming victims, too.
