I used WSA's services to send out over 4000 resumes and subscribed to their coaching support. The total cost for the service was over $8,000. I was informed that I would get two to three quality calls from a mailing list of 500 resumes with WSA. That translates into 18 to 27 calls for the volume I did.
I did not get one call from any of the companies in which WSA had provided the contact information for me. The position which I was looking for was a managerial position for which I was very qualified and where I am currently working. I got a 0% return on my $8,000 investment in the resume service. About 10% of their names were obviously incorrect, out of date, undeliverable, and often not even from the targeted industries.
To make matters worse, since I did not receive any calls, I couldn't use the interview coaching that I had paid for since I never received a call. I called WSA and they said it is not their fault and they would not refund any money. Not even the interview coaching cost ($800) which was not used. WSA has a great marketing scheme, but no results to back up the promises. Don't even bother asking for the free information packet or resume critique.
