The clown that runs this circus is a fast talking, self-centered, bald headed, lying weasel GORDON SIMIC that a short guy that has watched one to many mob movies. This clown wants $78 bucks a day to lease out one his notorious death-traps he calls a taxi. I should've known better when i first met this clown at the "interview". He was talking so fast it seemed like he was trying to sell me something (witch he was) instead of interviewing me. What he sold me was a pipe dream leaving me with HOPE of being gainfully employed, but instead i was just a pawn in a much bigger scheme. When i first got my "cab" from him it had absolutely no gas so i had to throw a 20 in the gas tank just to get started. After i put gas in it my vehicles dashboard went dead... No radio, speedometer, odometer, oil or fuel gadge so i was pretty much driving blind (not to mention i couldnt adjust side mirrors either). I bought it back to the "office" and all they did was swap it out for another piece of shit cab until they did the repairs witch never happened so i was basically out of $20 from the gas already. Now i have another "cab" but the fuel gadge didnt work on this one so i pretty much had to guess how much gas i had. I worked for about 12 hours only getting bulls*t small runs from dispatch witch left me just paying for gas and not making a profit. I ran from 11am to 2 am but still fell a little short on my lease due to all the bulls*t runs i was given from dispatch. Being dissappointed and tired i went home to get a few hours of sleep but guess who wakes me up at like 6am? Yup, you got it D*SPATCH!!! Demaning the $78 lease and since he was the one assigning me these crappy runs i thought he would easily understand and i could just take the $25 late fee and pay them off before 6am the next day. The dispatch told me "thats not going to work, you have to come in and give us something". All i had was gas money so i broke my beauty sleep to head to the office, but while i was on the I-290 a fare poped up going from cicero to downtown chicago. I picked up the fare and the moment i got off the expressway in downtown chicago i ran out of gas WITH A PASSENGER ON BOARD!!! This could have easily avoided if the FUEL GADGE WORKED! After my passenger bailed out without paying and pushing my fueless cab thru a busy downtown intersection with nothing but onlookers staring at me, i called the DICKspatch for support.instead of calling a tow truck he gets online and finds the nearest gas station for me too walk to with no gas can. I walked to the gas station and the die hard, above and beyond the call of duty, hourly payed cashier at the local BP charged me $5 just to borrow their gas can on top of the $10 i had to put in the gas tank... Now not only i was out of a $30 fare but i was also out of an additional $15 due to the negligence of morton/universal taxi and their inabilty to make the PROPER repairs on their fleet. The dispatcher told me they would work somthing out with me so like a dumbass i went to the office and they took the cab from me leaving me stranded in addison, il. If i was smart enough to know that was going to happen i wouldve left the cab where it was forcing him to pay for the tow. So im now stranded in addison and im forced to call a cab (of course not universal taxi) and pay another $10 to get to the train station and another $5 to get back to the city. All of this happened in less than 24 hours and in this time period all i did was loose $50 on top of times i had to put $10 in the tank... Point is GORDON SIMIC and the rest of his shady could give less than a f*k about you, all you are $78 to them there is no profit to be made. The only people that profits is the staff, not the drivers. Whatever you do avoid these assholes at all cost and if your a customer i highly recommend you use 303 taxi or american taxi. If you dont heed my warnings then take universal taxi at your own risk because it maybe your last ride riding around in morton/universal taxis DEATH-TRAPS they call "cabs".
