Whilst I was pregnant I was told that Tommee Tippee were excellent and that they were well worth the money. On this advice I went out and bought seven bottles. However, from day one I had nothing but bother with them! My son would take very little of his food before falling asleep and then waking up shortly after very hungry and very distressed. This was due to the teat hole being so tiny he couldn't even get milk out. I then replaced all the teats, which although are better for him came rather costly for both me and my partners mother who had to do then same. Also putting the hot water into the bottles has caused them to mishape and now the tops do not securely fit on... Surely ensuring this doesn't happen should be a no-brainer and it is now causing the milk to leak all over my son from gaps round the side. Finally, the lids have never fit my bottles properly and often when shaking to bottle to disperse the milk the lids have flown off causing damage to both myself and my kitchen. However, another family member bought asda's own bottles for her daughter who is two weeks older than my son has had no bother. Why do I appear to be getting ripped off because I tried to provide the best for my child?
