From the beginning there were issues. I uploaded my tracks to StudioPros and 3 days AFTER the guaranteed turnaround, they emailed me saying that the tracks weren't the right type, so I uploaded them in the format they said.
Then almost a week AFTER the next guaranteed turnaround, they once more emailed me stating that my tracks needed to be in yet another format, something they could have stated from the beginning. So I uploaded the tracks again. Then days later, they emailed me again stating that there were too many tracks. I re uploaded condensed tracks in all of the correct formats.
Weeks later when I finally received a sample, there were no voices so I knew it was a rough edit. The drums were off beat and not all of the instruments were there. This being a rough edit, I let it slide because I trusted that the engineer would fix the drum tempo as well as adding the vocals and missing tracks. However, when the final edit came around, the vocals were awful, the tracks weren't added and the drums were still off beat. I was saddened that the engineer would let this slide after hearing the demo version I mixed and sent him compared to his version.
I put in for modifications which they said would be no charge. However, before anything could be done, the engineer said I needed to re upload the drum tracks. I didn't and simply asked for a full refund (which was supposed to be guaranteed). They told me that because the engineer spent so long on it, they would only give me 50% back.
