Caminiti is a NYC lawyer located in Staten Island. He promises big things and delivers nothing... He is concerned with only the retainer check.
That's it... My situation lasted over a year. Here it is in a nut shell. I found a property that had leins on it and he said that he can get rid of them or pay pennies on the dollar... The minute he got my 4 thousand dollar retainer... He wouldn't return my phone calls for updates or provide any written updates... Then he claims he has it all clear while I'm in his office with a friend and we attempt to close, and a federal lein is still there. He then tells me that the seller must provide clear title. But in fact he was supposed to clear it. The seller and IRS agree to split the proceeds and then Mr Caminiti then proceeds to create a company to pay off everyone at closing!!! He gets another 4 G.
Ok... I mad but I have the property. I'm trying to sell it now, and guess what... A real estate tax lein of 7500 is still on the property... I have owned the property for 3 months...
Caminiti still didn't do what he was supposed to do..
There is more to it but that is the crux of the case..
He does nothing... Don't give him your business
