Discovered an eroneous charge on my online banking statement for a Credit monitoring service from a company called CIC. My first clue was no physical address could be located, only a 800 number. Attempted to cancel the service, the person at the front desk kept asking for my credit card number. When I told her I would not give it to her she stated " I cannot help you then and hung up on me"
I made at least three attempts to work this out with them to no avail. I am now disputing the charge with my Credit Union.
