Ok i am a small breeder of poodles top of line. I decided to get into chihuahuas as well. Well let me tell you about this breeder. She got my # off a friend who new i was looking for high quaility now don't call me stupid but here goes. I went over for a deal on a mating pair female being only 7 months old. The first male i did not check for he was 11 months and figured this elderly experienced checked already. I get home after paying 1000.00 when i was holding the long haired male i noticed 1 testicle missing. My error. She had me bring back now grant you it is 60.00 round trip each time for i had to take ferry. 2nd one 8 months male she shows me and said let me show you he has a scissor bite but will correct by 1 year old his champ dad did.
I bring home with doubts took to my vets and he said very bad hereditary underbite and to take back. So here goes 120.00 plus 38.00 vet bill taking back. She promised me a good male out of a champ male and i picked out was too small yet to take home. Went back 5 weeks later to pick up kept saying he sure has a fat belly. Oh i just fed him. I get home take to vet and he has coccidia and giardia. Now more money out of my pocket. At 4 months old he was lethargic i ruched to vet where they tried to save and had to do cpr and my baby died of conjestive heart failure and died. I call her she said i am sorry and made me come pick out one at 10 days old instead of letting me wait until they were 7 weeks old i was still hurt and in shock and of course 1 looked just like the one i lost. So i picked him out now remember this is 2 days after i lost my baby.
When i went to pick him up again looked just the same fat pot belly and the other male at the time still available looked much better, more alert, and she refused us to be able to take him said i am going to find him a show home. I was angry for with the cost from my side on the other 3 males trying to get something good already costed me and additional 600.00 plus the original 1000.00 and here we go again pup had coccidia and giardia, and now only weighs 1 pound 15 ounces with sinus issues and testicals did not go down to sack. SO if you want heart ache and major stress don't buy from her. Oh and the female i got is good except she lied on how big parents were.
I bred to my male that has bred with 4 other females most weighing 4 pounds not the male from her one i had. Alweighs babies nice and small this female weighs 5 pounds and 3 babies were breech and 1 regular and if i weren't here they all would have died the babies were big and i was told dad weighed 4 pounds soak and wet he was long hair i did not see and mom was 5 pounds soak and wet and long hair and i did not see. She has a rule no refunds only exchange only why when 4 males were genetic issues and to top off the last 2 males were champion sired. Thats bad. I didn't even call her on the 4th male for add an addional 400.00 keeping him alive for my husband and he is 1 year old. I have never seen so many defects by 1 breeder.
Beware and yes i should of been smarter i have raised poodles for many years and have daisy hill line, alegria max a million champ lines. But what to do when no refund. She might have been good in her younger years but not now i bought just in late 2010 got my last male about 1 year ago in 2011. Beware and my close friend vet has taught me a lot. I have had enough heat break with this lady jocye flint. And i am still angry would i have had a healthy male if i could of taken the one i wanted that wasn't lethargic and playful and not A FAT GUT i bet i would have she didn't care all the money i was out taking her and trusting her word.
