United Public Opinion Group just phoned me this morning with a recorded message telling me I could get 2 FREE cruise tickets to nassau bahamas for answering a short telephone survey.
After the 3min Survey I was connected to a live person who just have been seated in a very loud and open space, as I could barely hear him. This person asked for my Full Name, Telephone # and Zip Code.
I should have known better than to provide this information, especially over the phone. I'm now concerned they will somehow use my personal identifying information to perform some type of identity theft and possibly sell my info off to a bunch of other soliciting companies and bombard me with spam and bogus offers.
I knew the offer was too good to be true when I was instructed to go to surveycruise.com and enter my telephone number and zip code into the webpage to log in.
When I attempted to log in and claim my 2 FREE cruise tickets the website returned an error page with debugging code. I tried several times and then decided to google search the company online.
I found a few ripoff Reports about this company and others who have experienced the same problem accessing the page and now I know this is a total ripoff and others need to be warned.
BEWARE OF United Public Opinion Group or anyone calling with an offer for free travel tickets if you complete a short phone survey. DO NOT DO IT!
I'm terrified to think of whats being done with my information now and I'll have to monitor my credit reports, credit cards and bank accounts. And find a way to remove myself from opt-in calling list these d*n marketers are using.
