D & D bathtub refinishing was a nightmare from the begining. They sent us out a trainee to spray our tub. When he was done it looked dull and gritty like it had tiny rocks all over it. We called then back and told them that it just didn't look right.
Finally after the third time they sent us a guy who knew what he was doing and the tub looked great. All except this one spot that looked like it had a tiny bump. Like it had a tiny rock under the coat of paint. It was very small like a grain of sand. When we showed the guy who refinished it he told us it was no big deal. It would be fine and after all their work is guaranteed for five years so if something did happen it would be no problem.
Our first mistake was not making them fix that right then and there. So here we are three years later and that little spot looks like it popped open. We called D & D and they were so rude to us we could not believe it.
First she told us the owner was in the hospital and she couldn't do any thing about it now call back. Two to three week later when I called back she said this tub is three years old and you probably dropped somthing in it and chipped it and it's to late!
I told her we have a contract that says work guaranteed until 5-6 and you haven't even came out and looked at it. If you did you could tell it wasn't chipped. This looked like a blister that popped. She said NOPE and that was that.
I want the world to know that D & D refinishing has NO FIVE YEAR GUARANTEE once they get your money your lucky if you can get them on the phone! Bad business d & d!
