Milan Express the good ole "Christian Family Values" company has been up to some really sour dealings. If you are a company driver and thinking about becoming part of the Milan Express "family", Think About This First.
If you were to have a work related injury that would take you out of commission for over 90 days, you will be terminated at the 90 day mark as per the employment contract. Now, once you are terminated you would not be considered for rehire as you would then be a risk. (they of course do not tell you this, they would instead tell you that there are no trucks available for you, all the while still hiring drivers every week) The biggest faux pas that Milan Express is doing is their sign on bonus, they advertise a $10,000 bonus after 5 years or 570,000 miles.
The drivers that have made the time where denied miles in hopes that they would quit before they made the required milage, the drivers that have stuck it out and have made the requirements to present knowlege have not been paid their deserved bonuses. If this is Chritian family Values, God help us all.
