American Laser Center associates and company are a bunch of liars. I have been treated for TWO years and yes SOME of my hair has lessened but I still have a lot of hair and some areas actually got worse. They tell you when you first sign up that they will make you 100% hairless which was a lie. They had a much better laser when the company was franchise owned that actually worked. Once the corporate company took over they changed the laser to a much weaker laser that does not work at all. I am convinced it actually makes your hair grow. I have purposely stayed out of the sun for 2 years and do not take anything to make my photo sensitive. I am extremely fair skin (I am almost borderline albino I am so white) and I have black course hair. According to their advertisements and "professionals" I should get the best results. Well not with the new laser. First off, they start you at the lowest possible setting ever. No results what so ever. They also have this stupid rule that they have to treat you on the same setting 3 times before they an increase the laser setting. Please remember that also have another policy that they space out your treatments by 6-10 weeks depending on the area. SO that means you will treated on the lowest setting that does not even work for three times before they increase it by 1 or 2 which will still not work. So basically you are half way through your package or already 3-5 months in with no results. Oh and the 1 year treatment or 6-8 sessions they offer you will not get you the results you think. I have been coming for 2 YEARS and I still have a lot of hair since they changed the laser to a weaker one.
The technicians change frequently and do not want to increase the laser settings to HELP you because they are afraid they will get fired. Some nurses space out the laser so much or rush your treatment that you end up with missed areas or large splotches.
Rockville ALWAYS overbooks and is ALWAYS short-staffed. They RUSH your appointments and can never schedule you in the time frame that you need to come in. They all refuse to help you so once they take your money they don't care anymore. They do not care if your hair is not gone or getting worse. They do not care if you complain and tell them you are not getting results. AND they do not want to accommodate your schedule to get you in for treatment.
So if you sign up for them you are WASTING your TIME and money. AND your HAIR will get worse in areas because you have to shave so often. It is very degrading when you have to shave so much.
I have been through 4 location managers since I first started there. Every time I have to explain my situation, settings, how the laser isn't working and still no accommodations.
SO DO NOT SIGN UP with american laser center. You will waste your money. Do not let the sales people lie to you. Again, I was the best candidate with black hair and the whitest skin ever and I do not see good results. I spent a lot of money and I only wish I was not so stupid to sign up in the first place.
Yes, their customer service will see this message and post a generic message saying to call them and they want to help me but I have called and complained and ever customer service does not help. Their regional managers and location mangers get fired so often there is no hope for them. They false advertise which is illegal.
