We (my fiance and I) were stupid enough to believe the offers we got from the telemarketers of wellnet - c.P. I - american values - am values... Whoever the hell they are.
They told us all we had to do was give them $1.95/month out of our checking account and we would receive $500 worth of groceries. We believed them and they told us we could cancel at anytime.
Then we found $99.90 missing from our checking and the bank told us American Values had taken it out. We had 2 small checks out (both under $20), but our NINE DOLLAR balance wouldn't cover us if the checks went through.
So, I spent hours calling these people and they just gave us the run around and refused to credit our account. Then, I filed a complaint with the better business bureau and did some internet research, and found out this had happened to thousands of other people!
We immediately closed our checking. These people need to go down! I will take the advice of another complainer and call the Nevada senators, etc. We are appalled by the business ethics of this company
Ps - they also have several different names!

3.) shopping network inc.
4.) shopping club
5.) am values
6.) C P I
7.) CPI
8.) american values
*if any of these people call you&hang up!
