The FDIR is run by a woman named Victoria Krichmar Markowski. She had purchased over $30,000 in advertising space for an upcoming event that the FDIR was supposed to hold in early 2011. The event never gained any steam and thus no monetary support from what she thought was for-sure sponsors.
Needless to say the event date has now changed locations and dates over four times this year and is no longer in DC but in Denver. She never paid for any of her advertisements and the event still has yet to take place.
If you call the office it's really just a satellite office and the receptionist will always say that Victoria isn't available. Our company offered Victoria a chance to pay just $1000 in good faith before we had to send her to our attorneys.
The matter still isn't resolved but be warned - the FDIR is a scam and if they are looking for your support through media or sponsorship - don't expect it to come to fruition.
