Investigator 2000 made an unauthorized charge of $29.99 to my credit card.
This is very distressing to me because I had initially purchased a first-time-membership with Investigator 2000 0ver 60 Days Ago which I Cancelled Within Mere Hours when I found the the site's advertisement of its member services to be extremely pretensious as well as critically misleading, which is another matter.
I received confirmation of the cancellation of my membership and a full-refund to my credit card within 24 hours.
Over 60 Days Later (in which time I have had no contact with the company nor have even as little as gone to the website!) my credit card has been charged $29.99.
Apart from the outrage at the unauthorized $29.99 charge (which is presently complicating my life by having reduced the available balance on a credit card that I use to automatically pay for the recurring monthly charges of utilities and such), I am angered at the fact that Investigator 2000 even has my credit card information on file in a way that is accessible for charging when I have had neither business Nor Contact with them for over 60 Days.
I do not consider the matter of Investigator 2000's action to be that of a 'mistake' with billing, as again, I have had neither business Nor Contact (not even so much as having visited their website) with Investigator 2000 in over 60 Days, as well as the fact that there is no legitimate reason whatsoever for their continuing to have my credit card information on file in a capacity to where they can make charges to it, let alone completely unauthorized charges.
It should also be noted that Investigator 2000 did nothing to contact me about the charge they made to my card and that I would not have known of it had I not checked mt credit card's transaction history.
