I received a phone called, she told me her name was nancy and she was with the us treasury grant department. She also informed me that 200 people in my state had been selected to recive a $7000.00 grant to do with as i wish to better my lifestyle. I could not ude these funds for gambling, drug abuse or any illegal activitys... It had to be used for things like home renovation, paying bills, giong to school, buying a better csr, anything to give me a better quality of living. All i ned to do was have a checkinc account, give her the account number and routing number, she would then give me a confirmation number and a telephne number to cal (202-684-6979) for ruther instructions, ask for john romero. I gave her the account number and routing number to a savings account i have with no money in it. She told me thank you and said to hang up and call the number she had given me and speak to john.
I tried to ask her questions and all i got was repitisous answers. I called the number she had given me and ask to speak to john romero, he ask me my name and the confirmation number, whitch i gave him. He then instructed me to receive funds i had to go to western union and get the green and yellow wire transfer forms. I would also need $210.00 to send western union and the funds would be placed ito my account within 15 minutes. I told him i need to go to atm ang get money and that i lived outside city limits so it would take me a while to get there and i also had to get myself and two small children up mand dressed and out the door. It would take me atleast 1and 1/2 hours to call him bace. He responded by saying that was a very long time but if i hurry we may still be able to get the funds transfered.
I waitd about 1 hour and called him back and informed him i was at western union with the forms and i had given the funds to the lady at the window... He said you what / you gave the funds already? Thats not what i told you to do. I said no, no i an at wester union and i have the funds and the paperwork. I havent givin anyone money yet you told me to call first good. He breathed a sigh oif relif and said good i will kill you if you had givin her the money i just would have killed you we are so close. I acted as if i was not bothered by what he had said and he proceeded to ask me for the numbers on the westtern unoin forms i had... Iread off a few numbers and told him some very nasty things and ended with do you thimk i am stupid? I hung up and he has called my phone 25 times since 4: oopm.
