A friend of mine responded to an ad on Craigslist for a "Warehouse Worker" job. He was contacted by beth. [email protected] who invited him to fill out an employment screening application on the web site www.sanderscooper.com.
He got suspicious because the application required a credit card number, supposedly to verify citizenship (which makes no sense.) Having no credit card, he stopped filling out the application.
I've found out that:
-Sanders Cooper, according to their web site, has been in business for 20 years, yet I couldn't google anything on them, and their domain name was only registered last Fall (in the Bahamas.)
-Although they give an address in New York City, they call it their "Connecticut Head Office."
-This address doesn't appear to be an office building anyway.
