I hired (a-1 affordable movers) to move my furniture and personal belonging from florida to california, december. To begin the company was 1 week late delivering my belonging, and to make it worst the truck carring my furniture was in an accident. The mayority of my furniture was badly damage (broken, scratch-destroyed) the aproximate value 0f 3,500 dollars.
The owner mr. Hayden told me that he will replace my damage furniture or pay me for a replacement. After waiting for 3 months, and many phone calls and e-mail from my side, finally the company (a1affordable movers) mr. Hayden offer me 2,500 over the pnone. I agree for that amount to pay in the next 2 weeks. That same day i send him an e-mail to confirm the agreement we had over the phone. He never responded.
I waiting 2 weeks again to see if he will send me the money. He never did. So, i send him an e-mail letting him know that if he was not going to send me the money that we agree, i will seek legal action against is company. His e-mail response was (ok).
This is a company that advertise them self as a christian group over the internet. He sounds like a very honest and fair man. Dont be fool my family and i worked very hard for years to get our furniture, to be destroyed and not be compesated by a so call christian man or group, its very painfull and deceiving. I will seek justice. Dont let him fool you.
