M and D Sorority Gifts Nonexistent or Rude Customer Service Internet

Consumers - this site has very cute things! But it is SO not worth it to order from them! If you are in need of any customer service at all the owner is not interested and worse, will treat you with disdain. When I originally reported damaged merchandise, I was not seeking a return or replacement and told her so. I was just trying to let her know what was going on so she could address it with her vendor. It was not until I was first ignored and later misinformed about a backorder that I changed my mind about this. Use this vendor at your own risk.

Details: I originally ordered clear tumblers. I was informed that clear were on backorder, would I like purple instead? I agreed but requested I be sent the clear when they came in. I received the purple ones shortly after and they were scratched. I wrote an email to report this primarily so they could contact their vendor. I never received a response. Weeks pass. I received a note from Paypal that I still have an outstanding unfilled invoice from M&D all for clear tumblers. This reminds me I never heard back from M&D about the damaged merchandise. I write to them about both the damaged cups and the outstanding unfilled invoice. They said they don't have anything showing I have a backorder for the plastic cups. Yet Paypal does. They say the other purple tumblers they have in stock are either perfect or just very slightly scratched, implying I am exaggerating my claim. They tell me they want to see photos of the damage. Keep in mind this was months ago and my daughter and her sister have been using the cups and are at college. Several months later, I receive a refund through Paypal with the following note, "Full refund issued in August for May order. Customer account closed. Thank you for not ordering from us again." And that was it. No apology. Nothing. I AM relieved to have received a refund. But was it worth the time and the insults?
