My company received a call from a man from Daryl with Ranger Financial willing to provide services to us in the collections department. The man sounded sincere so my employer decided to use him on a past due account and told him if he could collect we may be able to use them again. While they were talking my boss mentioned another man that owed him money, but told Ranger Financial that was an account he would take care of himself. Ranger Financial called the Wrong company and threatened a client we have had for over 20 years!
When when my boss tries to tell Ranger to stop harassing the wrong people Ranger Financial starts to harass us including obscene language and sexual harassment on the women in the department. They threaten people with the law or say they are coming to their work place. These people are the rudest and most unethical company you would ever have the displeasure of meeting.
To top it all off they wanted us to pay for harassing and threatening people we didn't even ask them too. If we knew Ranger Financial's collecting tactics we would have never given them a second thought. This company will never get another outside company for anything without fully checking them out! Live and learn. If Ranger Financial calls you on the phone HANG UP!!!
Do not let them even get the first word in. Because if you let them speak they automatically think they can do whatever they want!
