Kim Boyer caught helping Jared Shafer in black market medical experiments.
Kim Boyer is a local Las Vegas attorney practicing elder law and estate planning. My Aunt Grace needed a guardian because none of us lived in Nevada. Ms. Boyer told us Jared Shafer was the most ethical guardian in the country because he was Clark County's former public guardian. Our family agreed and Mr. Shafer took over.
Signs of trouble appeared when Grace was moved out of her home into Jump for Joy care a Las Vegas nursing home, which was forced out of business because of State health care code violations. Aunt Grace disappeared for four weeks. We were told Grace didn't want any part of her family. Patience Bristol finally called to say Grace was staying at Chancellor Gardens and we could call if we wanted.instead we visited Chancellor Gardens. The conditions were beyond deplorable. The rooms were a mess. Grace had no toiletries, and no clothes. She told us Mr. Shafer had recommended some kind of operation on her chest and she had great pain since the surgery. Grace had a healthy heart. We learned Shafer through a Chinese doctor had 15 different medications proscribed for her. Before Shafer's guardianship no medications were needed.
My brother and I called Mr. Shafer to ask about what was going on with our Aunt. Mr. Shafer said "your Aunt is my business. But out." I'm the guardian and if I want a doctor to give her 100 medications, that is what she will have."
We called Kim Boyer. Boyer said "we don't question Jared Shafer. Mr. Shafer controls who will work in this town. As your attorney leave Jared alone. If you want to receive what Grace left you, keep out of Jared Shafer's way." Kim Boyer billed us $25,000 for approximately 30 hours work. She said "fighting Jared Shafer will just cost you everything you have."
Three weeks after this encounter Grace died. Her cause of death was malnutrition.
Kim Boyer said "they die when they get old, don't think a thing about it."
Kim Boyer ripped us off. Kim admitted covering Jared Shafer was more important than representing her clients. The Las Vegas media is afraid of Jared Shafer. One Channel 13 TV reporter said your Aunt is just another scalp in Shafers death for profit scam.
Jared Shafer is that kind of problem everyone knows about but nothing is done because no one wants to take him on. Shafer steals estate money, murders seniors for profit, lies in court, forges documents, sells securities without a license, abuses children, through connections causes false arrest warrants to be filed and not put into the system, and when he believes he is cornered fakes an illness to avoid the issue.
Kim Boyer chooses to befriend a man who is guilty and has been caught numerous times breaking the law. Boyer has developed that talent of looking the other way when someone is harmed. Unfortunately she will publicly state with a straight face Jared Shafer is a good and ethical man. Because of people like Kim Boyer Jared Shafer is allowed to continue his death for profit enterprise.
