Let's start with this. I have a Bachelor degree in Marketing and international courses in PR. I have been applying for jobs for over 2 months. I received one phone call from the "Miami Advertising Group, MAG" stating that they received my resume and have several positions related to my skills and experience and they would like to invite me for an interview. Before accepting I asked if it these positions they have were for sales, the Human Resources Rep, said no, that they had other positions available.
I went to the interview in suit and professionally dressed, when i get into the office, two ladies were watching TV and eating chips, at this point I was disappointed but I didn't have anything to lose, so I stayed. A guy, I guess Carl, he was so insignificant that I can't even remember his name. But well He briefly (30 Seconds) told me what the company does and if I was comfortable with outside sales and if I was interested, I automatically said: "No Sales". He stood up and thanked me for coming and other person from MAG would call me. He was totally rude and even didn't care about my great education (I guess more than he has) and short but great experience.
I felt insulted and If I'm taking my time to write this, It's simply because I don't want that other fellas with higher education get through this bullsh*t. I studied Marketing, not outside sales and I guess they don't know the meaning of advertising, marketing and sales. Well I guess not, otherwise they wouldn't be ripping off people the way the do.
