I bought 2 breeder cats from Love Ragdolls, Elegant Ragdolls, Jessica Perry of South Carolina, they were sent to me on 7/1 upon receiveing them the male was very matted, and declawed which he wasn't supposed to be, the female had a 2 inch bald spot on the back of her head, and her ears were bald from ear mites she had had so badly of. She was also declawed front and back legs and was not supposed to be, per love ragdolls contract says "they have a strict no declaw policy"
I took them to the vet on 7/2 for my vet to check them, he was quit disapointed in what he had saw as well and could not believe that the female had had earmites that bad, he also found an ear infection starting and has to be taken back in 2 weeks to reevaluate her ears again.
Because they had treated her with revolution on 6/29 just a few days before they sent her to me he wants to see if that clears up her ears or not first. And not over medicate her.
She also had a 2 inch bald spot the vet said from having earmites so bad. She was sickly underweight. As well. And he was disgusted that this female had been declawed front and back. Because she had ear mites so bad and had been declawed front and back he could not imagine how that must have felt for her and she could not do anything about it.
The male was badly matted and he acted as if he had been abused.
I have repeatedly asked for the TICA regsitration papers, and they keep having one excuse after another. I want the TICA Papers to register my 2 cats, they said I could return them but they are better off with us.
I am asking that I get the TICA papers and expecting a response by this monday 7/11 I am filing with the prosecuting attorney monday morning. Period.
This is an outrage! And they need to stop breeding.
