Cube Moving & Storage stole a PS3 and Wii full of data and photos. They've offered, through ANTHEM CLAIM MANAGEMENT in Arizona, $140 as a "courtesy" $4/lb for a missing box, even though I deleted the contract provision re: valuing items per pound rather than actual value. Also, a box wasn't missing - my inventory list of boxes checked out. It wasn't until I had unpacked them all that I realized one had been opened, the two systems removed, and then resealed. These thieves act like they don't know anything.
In addition, they're incompetent (told me two weeks after pick up that they hadn't realized my arrival location was 700 miles north of "the highway" - then acted like they were doing me a FAVOR by keeping the quoted price!), communicate poorly, contradict themselves and each other on the phone and in emails, and all around play dumb.
If anyone else out there has had issues with Cube Moving & Storage of New York, who have recently relocated from Manhattan to the Bronx, please contact me. I will be filing suit in the coming weeks.
