On May 13th a woman, who was unusually obnoxious came knocking at my door, Liz Foster was her name. At first my husband answered and she began to flirt like with him and tell him about her schooling and she was selling magazines to be entered in a contest to win a trip and she's trying to earn points. At first my husband entertained her and after several minutes I could tell he was getting annoyed so I came to the door. She began telling me the same thing. She was selling several magazines with no prices. My daugther was at the door so she explained a fun magazine to order so reluctantly I got it. 48.00 for 30 issues plus the 15.00 process fee = 68.00. I told her I can't afford that right now to come back in a couple of weeks and she said no worries you can post date a check for two weeks. I said great posted the check for 5/2 and low and behold 5/17 it posted to my bank with the date changed on the check. She didn't even try to hide that she made the 7 into a 0 to show it as 5/20. Of course you call the customer service line and NO ONE answers. I've called it since yesterday at least 30 times at the times that it states on the voicemail 9-1 est and it says they are either closed or answer other customer service calls. Makes me wonder, that many complaints??? I hope to get a supervisor to get me my money back and hope to never deal with these dishonest people again. Hope to post good news later that I got my money back, but DOUBTFUL at this point. VERY UPSET at this dishonesty. Also noticed yesterday that on my receipt she put 5/10 so even if I had decided to cancel even before this happened it would've been too late because they only give you 3 business days.
