We signed a contract for 50% up front and 50% when the job was done for the removal of two fully-grown maple trees plus grinding the stumps. He showed up a about 4 times and was able to cut down most of the branches of one tree. He worked for about 3 hours each day and on the second day he asked for the 50% up-front payment. After that, the few additional days he work he knocked out both of my neighbors cable lines and damaged my fence, all the while his friends stood around in the back yard loitering. The day he damaged our fence was the last day he showed up. Both trees are still up. He ran off with my cart and I haven't seen him since. It's been a month now since he started and I'm contacting lawyers. After doing a more thorough background check, it turns out this guy has been arrested on felony possession of methamphetamine charges twice. He's still asking for more money.
Listen Carefully: Rodney Nordell should never come to your home.
