Our family hired Keith Horton in 2009 to help us sell our parent's household after one of my parents had passed away. As most families in our situation, we were in a hurry to clear the contents and turn it over to the new owner, and we only had a few days to do it in.
Keith told me that the estimated worth of our contents was $3,000, which was obviously hugely understated, but he knew that we were in a rush. Keith is aware of these situations and he takes full advantage of it. He told me that he could give us worse case $1,500 and best case possibly $3,000.
He sent us a check for $500, total! The contents were well worth over $10,000. I made numerous attempts to contact Keith and he never returned my calls, responded to faxes, etc.
If anyone has it, I would like to have Keith's current contact info.
Do not ever hire this man. He is a scammer. He will take your memorable possessions and expensive furniture and you will never see the money!
