I contracted Phenix and Phenix to do publicity for my book campaign. I paid them $7,750 for a 2 month campaign for my book. I also sent them 90 books (they retail at $14.95/ea - do the math) They took the money up front for my campaign. The campaign started and was going really well. The PR agent was mailing books and press releases and media kits to the media. On each kit, the person would have to call the agency (my publicist) in order to book me. Well, when the closed doors without telling me, I called and called and emailed and nothing. Found out through the grapevine. Now all that was for nothing. Anyone that wants to book me will now be calling a number where no one will return the call. No money back, no books back. Rip Off! Thief!
