Stephen Pursley did an extremely unprofessional representation of my case. He made numerous errors when presenting my case and when told about them, he just laughed and said it would make them do a lot of unnecesary work trying to figure out what he said.
He made many promises regarding what he would do and attemped very few of them. Once he got me to sign his agreement, he totally changed what he said he would do and only wanted to 'split the baby'. This was never mentioned or brought up when we were discussing the case. He only said this was his approach after I signed his agreement. Had he been honest I would never have used him. Trusting him is the biggest mistake I have ever made. Do not make the same mistake and trust him for your legal needs.
All of my friends told me to stay away from Stephen Pursley. I did not listen and as a result received extremely poor legal representation.
He would not even read the documentaiton I prepared for the case. When I asked him to read the material because he was making numerous errors in his correspondence, he said it was not necessary. How can an attorney professionally represent a client when he does not even read the facts of the case? As a result, I had to correct him numerous times regarding the facts he should have alreaday known, but didn't because he would not read the documentation prepared.
Also, be aware he pressured me into a poor decision to accept the offer from my company as he said I had to make a decision right away.
He was also critical of his associate's advice to me. After the associate left the room he told me to ignore what his associate had advised me. When I asked why he did not tell me this when I could have asked his associate, he had no answer.
I strongly recommend not having any legal representation from this man. It is my learned opinion based on my expreience with him, his representation was the worst I could have obtained.
