Okay, where do I begin? CGFNS (Acronym stands for "Commission for Graduates of Foreign Nursing Schools) International is anything but a short of monopolistic organization that specializes in various programs and services that are usually extended to an unaware individuals who have received Nursing training in countries outside the U.S. But aspire to be licensed to work in the capacity of Nurse in the United States. This organization basically sells evaluation services, visa screening programs and certification programs amongst other things.
What their patrons don't realize is that they DON'T NEED CGFNS to prepare for NCLEX (nurse certification exam) as well as the fact that CGFNS is NOT THE ONLY company offering such services. Any aspiring individual should first decide which one of the 50 U.S. States they want to work in and then contact their respective Boards of Nursing to initiate the process.
