Okay first of all I reconsidered my boot size after reading the manufacture's sizing charts, because they are different than the standard measurements. I called within the first two hours after placing my order to change the size, and I was told, "Sorry I can't do anything for you. Your order went to warehouse already." If I could have believed that I wanted to know why then the order could not be electronically changed so the warehouse knows, and the rep said that's not how they do it; nor could they kill the order, so I said I would and return them. (Within minutes I had ordered the same exact pairs of boots from another store; Endless.com. Free overnight shipping to boot!)
Okay. So then I get an e-mail five days after I placed my order with Piperlime that my order was shipped that day; five days after I placed my order! Wow and the lazy phone hag wouldn't change my order within the first two hours of placing it. Go figure.
In the meantime I received my order from Endless.com. The boots from them arrived too big (turns out the manufacturer's sizing chart wasn't for humans is all I can think of lol). Not only were the boots too big, but they were both scuffed all over in different spots and looked somewhat used, so I returned them. I had no problems whatsoever, free return and return shipping. I was credited the purchase price back almost immediately.
Now my boots from Piperlime arrive, and it was unusual. The boots were in the same condition as the boots from Endless.com, so I knew the product overall was of poor quality, but what was really strange to me is they seemed like knock-offs. I had already returned the other one's, but it seemed like these were a lot lighter in weight and cheaper looking, too. I was thinking of contacting the designer about this. I had ordered two pairs of boots in each order. The same one's, and Piperlime's were too small for me, and in one pair I couldn't even get my foot in the boot at all, but both were marked the same size.
I returned my boots, and UPS tracking shows they were delivered on-site five days ago and still they have not acknowledged the return or credited me. I spoke with billing but received a run-around, and then called back and spoke with Returns/Exchanges and received the same thing.
My entire experience with this place has been a nightmare and I would never consider even returning to their website much less to order anything from this hole again. I have a surprise for them though lol.
P.S. My experience with Endless.com was EXCELLENT, and I will shop again with them.
