I am writing concerning a TV advertisement by Zoosk.com depicting a bar patron murdering another patron with a dart thrown to the heart. Deception is very graffic showing the murder victim slowly anguishing from the dart stabbing puncture with the dart sticking out of his chest. He then slowly falls to the floor while other bar patrons laugh.
It is my opinion that this commercial is very repulsive. I know it is normally standard practice, if not FCC regulations, to not depict someone committing murder on TV, although it apparently is satisfactory to depict such an event as having occurred off screen. Your commercial seems to depict this murder as somehow "funny."
I believe that this is one of the sickest commercials I have seen in many years. Zoosk and CNN should immediately remove it from the air and issue an on-air apology for ever showing a simulated murder, especially in such a manner as to appear like a joke to underage viewers.
