Horrible service and policies

I placed an order in an Aldo shoe store inside the southpark mall in strongsville ohio. They yet again for the fourth time in a row did not have my shoe size in what I wanted to purchase. The store associate, Ashley, who was very unpleasant and seemed as though I was wasting her time, (even though I spend around $200 at that particular store every month) said that I could place the order through her for no charge or shipping cost. I agreed to do so and paid at the time for 2 pairs of shoes and the insoles for them. I purchased the xantoa and nuara shoes. I was told and as it states on the receipt the product would be received in 3-6 business days. I received the nuara on May 31st which was great perfect timing as I purchased these shoes for my vacation. I will say that the shipping of sandals with a plastic thing holding them together is a horrible idea because they did have scratches on them when I received them. That is not the main complaint here. The issue is that I never received the xantoa shoes and was never notified at all about the shoes. When I got back from my vacation I called the customer service center about the shoes. I was told that the package was lost and that they can’t do anything about it. So i asked when exactly I was going to get a call or email or anything to let me know that I was not going to receive my shoes yet also still had the money I paid. I find this ridiculous that in 3 weeks not one person could notify me that what I had paid for was not going to ever get to me. Had I forgot for some reason that I ordered these shoes would your company have kept my money? True it is only $45 but that is $45 that I could have put towards something that I would actually receive and get use out of. The best part about this whole issue is that when I said this is ridiculous that no one could notify me I was laughed out. Great customer service (this is sarcasm)! I was eventually asked for my credit card number to get the money refunded to me. It was not shown up on my bank statement as I just got off the phone and I do not expect instantaneous results but I do expect someone to call or inform me that I will not be receiving a product that I paid for. I am very unsatisfied with the customer service and lack of respect that I received from Aldo Shoes. As much as I love Aldo shoes this was too much for me to ever shop at an Aldo Shoes or related store (i.E. Aldo accessory) store as it is not worth my time or money. I will also me informing my friends and family about the horrible service and apparent policies that your company has in place so they do not waste their time at any of your stores. This issue was not and is not resolved by refunding my money by a customer service representative that finds it just fine to laugh at customers.
