US Directories is a company of Direct Billing, apparently along with Xacti LLC. They are located in numerous states, but corporate is in Boca Raton, FL. I urge you to look on the Better Business Website for zip code 33421, company name Direct Billing, for multiple complaints (78 in 3 yrs as of March but keep in mind that's only the people who have taken the time to actually complain). US Directories representatives have called us repeatedly insisting to speak with the owner of our company. Our owners do not take calls such as this. We have been being harassed by US Directories for months now. When I tell the representative that an owner not available, or when I try to assist with the call myself (having full authority to do so), US Directories rep hangs up only to call back the next hour, or next day, or next month, or all of the above. I have repeatedly called the 800 or 888 number back when a rep hangs up in order to get our name taken off their calling list.US Directories has multiple numbers they call from. Today, it was from 888-880-8518. On two occasions, they have assured me we will receive no further calls. On these two occasions, I gave them our name and phone number and the rep claimed we were placed on a "do not call" list. However, we continue to be harassed. Today, I called (561) 989-7400 which is the number listed for US Directories. The receptionist answered with "Xacti" being the name of the company. I requested to speak to the owner (as they do with companies they contact) and was of course refused. I was told the name of the highest person I could write was Mr. Oesterlund, but all calls went through his secretary, Ms. Wyler. I was placed on hold for Ms. Wyler, and stayed on hold for about 10 minutes or longer. I called back and explained to the receptionist (again answered with "Xacti") that no one had answered. She then told me Ms. Wyler was on a conference call, and transferred me to Mr. Martinez X122. Mr. Martinez informed me he was a supervisor who took calls of an escalated nature. I explained everything to him, the multiple hang ups, the rudeness of the reps, their insisting to speak to an owner, the repeated calls that were harassing, and the fact I'd called to be put on the do not call list more than once. I hadn't looked US Directories up on the BBB prior to today, and I was amazed at the amount of complaints.
