We signed a contract with SRS&W (then AZ Pro-Solar) for solar electric panels back in May and received a projected install date of late September. As of March 7, we still do not have a single panel installed on our roof.
Some of their employees on the front end seemed to know what they were doing, e.G., engineering, insulation and attic venting; however, as time dragged on, the company's project management and communication skills have been almost non-existent. When prompted, company explanation for delays have revolved around panel availability (twice) and a problem with the inverter. One could understand this resulting in a couple of weeks delay, but two parties we referred to them in subsequent months after signing have had their systems operational since the first of this year—thus a huge credibility gap exists.
Clearly, there is no shortage of solar related businesses in Arizona and prospective consumers would be wise to consider other companies ahead of this one.
