From early January through mid February I provided Icicles and Kemp Buono over 35 color prototypes, and coated / assembled over 400 pairs of glasses. The invoices for labor and materials were over $5,500.00. Kemp picked up the glasses and the invoices and said he would pay within our 30 day agreement.
Kemp promised multiple times he would pay the invoices. It was one excuse after another as to why I did not receive payment. After 90 days I became suspicious and contacted the company that manufactured the frames for Kemp. The manufacturing company has also not been paid.
All of Kemps deceptions I found were to cover up the fact he was moving to California. When I attempted to locate him at his Colorado business locations, I found they were all recently abandoned by Kemp and his company. He still has a Colorado address, in Broomfield, listed on his website. This address is only a P.O. Box in a UPS store. Kemp still has the same cell phone number, but refuses to return any calls.
I finally sent the account to a collection company. The collection company has been unable to collect. I would be more than willing to join forces with anyone else who has been intensionally ripped off by Kemp to bring him to justice.
