Don't you notice how most of the new attorneys are going into elder law/estate planning, after they graduate from their law schools. It's easy money, convincing their dishonest elderly clients to hide their money from Medi-Cal.in the words of Encino, Ca. Lawyer David Coleman, "It is a trick that the Mitchell Karasov Law Firm performs in the court of Judge Thomas Stoever", now retired. This quote by David Coleman is in regards to Probate Code 3100 transferring money out of an ill spouses Living Trust illegally.
As for the specific case I am aware of, it involves 2003 newbie Mitchell Karasov attorney, Sean D. Ethington of Valencia, Ca. And his client Catherine Romano of Sun Valley, Ca. Also, involved as co conspirators are daughter of Catherine Romano, Anne Marie McNeley and her husband Retired Torrance fire captain, Dan McNeley. The children of Anne Marie and Dan McNeley, Sean McNeley and Kelly Drzewiecki were also involved in the conspiracy. The crime committed was presenting false information to the courts, to try to qualify Catherine Romano' husband Peter P Romano for Medi-Cal.
The conspiracy involved the estates of three ill, then deceased men, Peter P Romano, Anthony E Mancuso and Peter Cimarusti. The complicated crime was put into action by Catherine Romano and Sean D. Ethington in 2003. The Romano' had a 1988 family trust in effect, when in 1999, Peter P Romano fell ill to Alzheimers.in Catherine Romano changed the conditions of the Romano Family Trust, even back dated an amendment to the trust, well after Peter Romano was incapacitated by Alzheimers. Sean D. Ethington was Catherine Romano' lawyer at the time and performed the illegal changes. Carolyn Kunz, Ethingtons paralegal was an accessory to this fraud by not sending any notices of a probate case, to Peter Romano' son and two grandchildren. This illegal act was done to keep Peter Romano' son in the dark about his father' estate.
I can't stress enough what evil, money grubbing, toilet wh*res, Catherine Romano and her daughter Anne Marie McNeley are, they would steal from anyone. An example of this, is the estate of Anthony E Mancuso, who only believed in a will, not a trust. He repeated that statement many times, at many holiday functions. However, Catherine Romano and Anne Marie McNeley were witnessed many times, trying to convince the dying old man to obtain a trust.
Catherine Romano was heard many times talking about, how she wants to steal all of Anthony E Mancuso' estate. On certain occasions, she even told her immediate family that, "this is a be nice to Uncle Tony holiday." The fact of the matter was, that Anthony E Mancuso had Peter P Romano as one of his main beneficiaries, since Anthony Mancuso outlived his two wives and his only son. He did however have three grandchildren.
Being that what transpired was, when Anthony E Mancuso was in hospice and on morphine from cancer, Catherine Romano, Anne Marie McNeley, Marsha Yaeger and Sean Michael Cassidy, this unethical fraudulent lawyer, wrote up a phony living trust, in order to divert the assets of the Macuso estate to themselves. Catherine Romano, also was frauding Medi-Cal, by takeing her sick husband off of the Mancuso trust, so that Medi-Cal would not come after an inheritance belonging to Peter P. Romano.
