On January 22nd My wife and I visited the local Badcock store here in Pinellas Park Fla. She was really interested in a brand new bedroom set, where every piece matched. The set we found was the Birmingham Collection, that was on sale for $2,200.00.
The sales associate told us he could order the set for us, and that it could be delivered on Valentines day. (My Wifes birthday and Valentines day gifts) February 14th arrives, and a half hour before the delivery is to take place the associate from the store calls to inform me that the night stands will not be comming with the set.
With this my Wife was livid, but I told her that they were going to deliver the night stands in a couple days, and it would be ok. (little did I know at the time) Our bedroom set arrived at eleven am, right on time. The delivery guys dragged the triple dresser on its side across our tile floor, at least they had a furniture pad under it. The bed came in next, and they hit my newly painted walls getting it in the bedroom.
I inspected the furniture, and found many problems with it and was told they would bring another set on another day if I wanted. The guys left, and when I really looked at the furniture, I noticed that the marble piece on the triple dresser was warped. (it was just like the showroom dresser we saw at the store) In my mind they brought me the showroom set, and three days later I went to the store to find out when they were going to replace the furniture, the showroom was indeed missing the bedroom set that was at my house.
