Wow. I got a call from a Scott on Monday. I wondered why a pharmaceutical company would be interested in someone with no pharma experience, so I finally called back—at 800-729-5675 to see what it was about. I was on hold with muzak in the background, and then I spoke with a Kalie who asked questions like, "Do you have a 4 year degree, cause these companies want a 4 year degree." Ok...
She promised that salaries would be 30-60K, 6-figures with commission if the rep did a good job.
So then she wanted my address to send me a registration kit, and then asked for my credit card # for the $29 fee. Whoa. I said, wait a minute, this cannot be right, I'm not paying anything till I see what your company is about (the website is pretty generic), and she said she couldn't do anything until I paid the fee.
I did a quick search on the company and saw all kinds of complaints.
In this day in age you shouldn't be paying any service a fee to find you a job. Don't do it.
