I am writing to inform you of a fraudulent website: govvitalrecords.com. On 12/15 and 12/17 I paid $34.90 to obtain a record of my 1998 divorce in the state of Arkansas. They returned no results. Because I then doubted the veracity of the site, I then ran several more searches on family members in several states, for whom I knew there were marriage records, etc.
Again the results were the same: "no records found". They were unable to findANY type of record on ANYONE I knew. A few days later I was easily able to obtain in person a copy of my divorce record from the office of vital records in Little Rock, AR. This proves that this record DOES exist, I just had to drive six hours to get it.
Govvitalrecords.com claims to "guarantee instant results", however my numerous attempts at contacting the siteto were futile. I received only computer-generated responses acknowledging receipt of my messages. Soon after I sent these complaints they cancelled my subscription and locked me out of the site so that I can no longer log in. I have been cheated out of $34.90 of my hard-earned money by a website which met none of its claims.
