Received emailed response from "Maritza" in broken English providing way more personal information about her family than would be appropriate for a general pet adoption inquiry. "Maritza" was asking for the pet to be shipped to her home in Lincoln Nebraska where the family has supposedly "lived all their lives."
The response kept asking for additional personal information from me to supposedly send a cashier's check for the "adoption fee, " even after I specifically stated there wouldn't be one. There was also mention that "Maritza" is deaf or hearing impaired (apparently to explain why contact wouldn't be made over the phone).
