Our company hired ak - framing to do the carpentry on one of our projects and oh boy what a nightmare!!! After advance payments lack of manpower check cashing companies looking for them i have had it! This guy groton comes off to be a decent good ol' boy what a joke! Left some kid to run the job and bunch of hispanic fellows who don't even speak english while this guy was at the bar all day. We just finished the 47 page punch out list and after its all said and done it has cost us an extra $72,000 and a loss of 60 days to complete the project. I also find out that he left all of his crew behind and never paid them not to mention he never paid the motel they were staying at or his rental machinery never again check this guy out he is a crook holds a framing license in alabama that we are being told is under investigation his address is a ups store mail box involved in several lawsuits as well as a $15,000 bounced check at atlanta check cashers inc. At least they sued and won whatever you do stay away from him and if you are involved, kick him out! Your troubles are just begining!!!
