Treasure Seekers Gifts & Collectibles
On-Line Rip Off

I ordered a Halo Reach poster from this company on 9/21. My card credit card was charged for the poster and shipping that same day. On Octobe 1st, I sent an email asking why I did not receive my poster. There was no response. On October 5th I sent a second request for information about my order, again no response. On October 8th I called the number and spoke with "Michele Mazur". She told me that she was dealing with health issues and that is the reason she did not respond to my email. She told me that her order from her supplier came in damaged and she was expecting the replacement order in three days and assured me it would ship.

On October 12th I received this email:

Hello: I have been dealing with a very bad illness but I am out of the hospital and somewhat back on my feet now. What my employees tell me is that when my shipment came in these were not in the shipment. Trends had hem on back order. I have not head when they will be in so I have processed a refund and canceled your order. I will let you know when they come in and if you still need it you can order it. So sorry for the inconvienence and the time this has gone unresolved. Michele

Here was my response:

Please process my credit TODAY. You offered a different excuse to me two weeks ago, remember... The posters came in damaged... I will be reporting your company as business committing fraud with the Attorney General Office in Wisconsin and I will also do the same with your web hosting company and your credit card processing bank.

This is how Michele responded to me:

Hello: When I emailed you a couple weeks ago they where damaged and when my shipment came in last week they were not in the shipment as I was told they are now on backorder. Do you really think I want all this headache over a poster that I am making all of $2.50 over - let's get serious. I can will and can provide everything necessary that these came in damaged and now they are on back order. So do what you think you need to do. All I have to do is provide the invoices in the past two weeks that these have been ordered on and not received. Two weeks ago it was a different story as I get weekly shipments from many vendors. It would be different if it had only been a day or two with different stories. I pay $3.00 plus shipping for each poster and then 2% plus. 20 cents the whole transaction for credit card processing (. 45 cents) - so I only actually make $2.00 a poster - it is not worth all of this but I do it to provide a product to a consumer as prices that are not jacked up to take advantage of a consumer. So if you think you need to waste 100's of tax payer money to have the attorney general write me a letter and follow up only to close a case all over $10 please do want you feel is necessary. Your money was refunded as soon as I got back to work and was able to figure out what has been going on in my absence. PS: I never know what is coming in my order from Trends till it gets here - all I see is a charge and then three days later my shipment. Two days later I get the invoice in the mail. As a matter of fact I was charged for them so they owe me the posters or the credit. Thanks for reminding that I have that credit coming and it is alot more than I owed you and I don;t accuse them of credit card fraud. SOrry for seeming a bit hostile as I am trying to recover and I don't appreciate threats over something that has been returned. I totally could understand if I ripped you off for alot of money but a credit has been processed in full at 1:17 in the morning and I now been working since yesterday morning at 9:00 straight through the night and all day trying to get this mess cleaned up that was created will I was ill. Have a good night. Michele

I could care less about how much profit she makes on posters and I am offended that she thinks I am waisting $100's of tax payers money. This is the job of the Attorney General in every state... To protect consumers from being ripped off.

Do not do business with this company. The will take your money, hold it, never deliver ans until you threaten to contact the AG's office, you will not get your money back
