I worked for Tennessee Steel Haulers for 4 years, but I worked under their 3rd party company which Is Premium. The managers in my office were a married couple who work under the TSH name. There was so much hostility in the office, which was caused by the managers, that you walked on eggshells any given day. I spent time with this couple from time to time the first year I worked there, but pulled away from them on a personal basis when I was approached about a sexual preference that made me very uncomfortable. I also saw him stand up at his desk many times and turn his back to close and zip his pants. Other female coworkers saw this and we discussed it but we were afraid to say anything. He also exposed his wife's breasts to my husband not once, but twice, thinking it was funny but it really pissed me off. I saw them ridicule my coworkers, call them stupid, tell lies, call everyone who worked at corporate office complete idiots many many times. When I pulled away from them on a personal basis I became one of the people they mistreated. I would go days at a time and they would not acknowledge my presence in the office, so my co workers would not either. Everyone was afraid to speak to you if they weren't, afraid they would then mistreat them. They were so vindictive and retaliatory that you just did not know what to do. I saw people mistreated, including myself, who developed any kind of health problem and needed their help and understanding.instead they were made to do things anyway that caused them great pain. I personally developed full blown migraines in the last 2 years that I was there. I turned to Nashville for help in January, told the owners son alot of what was going on. He finally tells me to call Premium and file a complaint. But this couple does not work for Premium so I knew I was between a rock and a hard place.
I stuck it out until May, but hit the point I was physically sick and the migraines had gotten more frequent and incompacitating. I finally quit in May. I ended up calling Premium and filing a complaint, and was told they would conduct a investigation. They opened and closed one without even contacting all my witnesses who could back up everything I said. The bottom line is that The Corporate office knows what we all have been through. I have letters/affidavits from past and present employees against these people, with alot of the same complaints I had, from sexual to hostility, but Corporate will not address the situation and has done nothing. All of us also worked for them and did a good job, but are being ignored and called liars basically. I have filed a case with the EEOC and will file anything I can until I finally am able to prove that this is all true. It is like a slap in the face when you know you are telling the truth and begging for help, and no one will believe you. There is so much more to this story, and I know how bad it was in the terminal I worked at. I saw how they treated people and saw and experienced the things they said and did. I can not back away from this. This is wrong. But the good thing is, that I have not had a migraine since the day I walked away from them.
